Lessons from home

With these unprecedented times I have introduced virtual piano lessons using the platform of your choosing. Hold a lesson from home over Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Facetime. Homework is sent following lessons and I’ll send you video recordings of pieces and techniques to you practice between lessons.

The  new ABRSM pieces for 2023 – 2024 are out now. You can check out the new pieces on my youtube channel here and watch them played at normal pace and a slower pace to aid learning. With new pieces out for the summer, there’s never a better time to start a new hobby.

Congratulations to all my students who took their Winter ABRSM exams. We had some fantastic results with distinctions as well as merits and passes!

Not long until our annual Winter Concert. If you are interested in learning the piano and want to know more why not come along? We promise a lovely evening watching people play different genres of music on a Steinway grand piano.

Simply drop me an email at Halifaxpianoteacher@gmail.com or telephone on 07716 031252 to arrange tickets.

Held at Square Chapel in Halifax on Monday 15th January (6.30pm – 8pm) my current students (grades 1 – 8 and diplomas) will each play one piece from their repertoire in front of a friendly audience. It’s a great opportunity for those interested in piano to see what it involves and chat to some of my current students.
